The owners have lived in Beaufort for 24 years. They previously owned Lookout Cruises, a sailing charter business, located on the Beaufort Waterfront.
How They Started the Rental Business
We had a long term renter in our Carriage House who eventually purchased a home in Beaufort. We then remodeled the historic structure so that we could have additional space for our children and grandchildren when they visit and rent the remaining weeks to couples in the hopes that they will enjoy Beaufort as we have. The family grew and it became necessary to add some additional units.
What makes this area unique
We tell our renters, that once you arrive in Beaufort and park your car, you will not need it during your stay. There are 18 fantastic restaurants within 2 blocks and lots of locally owned shops within a few minutes walk. The NC Maritime Museum with Blackbeard’s Queen Anne’s Revenge exhibit is around the corner. Other attractions include the Beaufort Historic Grounds, The Old Burying Grounds, historic homes tours and plenty of water activities.
